Neurodivergence

Navigating life with neurodivergence is a complex experience. It can be a joyous and exuberant ride, marked by periods of emotional overwhelm and challenge. Many neurodivergent people find themselves caught between embracing the traits they love most about themselves and trying to function within the limitations of a neurotypical world.

For a lot of us, that tension has come with experiences that led to shame and guilt. When left unexplored, these emotions get in the way of everyday life.

I offer neuroaffirming counselling which is collaborative and focused on your strengths.

  • I do not have requirements around eye contact.

  • You are welcome to attend online sessions from wherever you feel most comfortable.

  • Stimming and other movement is welcome.

  • I am happy to make other adjustments to suit your needs.

The goal is that you feel at ease.

You might want a bit of extra support to navigate relationships or social experiences. You may want to develop greater emotional resilience or gain a better understanding of your sensory experiences. We could explore executive functioning and the gap between what you want to do and what your brain will let you do; or we might start somewhere else entirely. Our goals are determined by your needs and wants.

I work with people with autism, ADHD, AuDHD and others on the neurodivergent spectrum.

My aim is to help you move through life with confidence, authenticity and a sense of self that brings more ease and happiness into your life.

I  acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which I live and work. I pay my respects to Indigenous Elders past and present on the land of the Bidjigal and Gadigal people. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
